Mind Body Therapy: Your Body Will Effect Change
We spend most of our time disconnected from the aliveness and intelligence of our body’s wisdom. Let’s learn the language of our body and train our self to recognize and pay attention to the cues and messages our body is always sending. Let’s discover what happens when we access what we know from the inside out.
Your body is talking to you. Are you listening to what it says?
Be part of a process where you find your own way. Have the courage to be yourself, and feel more at home in the world, in your own skin, and find more satisfaction in relationships, work and family.
Exploring sensory awareness invites clients to take time to develop a felt sense of their body’s sensations, actions, reactions, and resources. This awareness and sensitivity allows a shift in their nervous system to a more regulated state with new perceptions, insights, and feelings. Sensory awareness is a mind body therapy approach where clients become more connected to what is happening in their body and central nervous system through all their senses: sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, intuition.
Audrey’s years of training and experience in dance, yoga and body-mind-emotion experiential therapies allows her to help clients be more aware of how their body plays a significant part in shaping their sense of safety, satisfaction and connection to themselves, others and the world.
Remember we can connect to our body’s intelligence and open up to the pleasure of movement, self-care, and compassion, as well as stay in touch with our self, and our body in the middle of our busy life. We want to build comfort and confidence in our body and in our place in the world. We can be more embodied and empowered than we ever believed possible. What our body learns, our psyche will follow.
